Getting a Plasma TV to show 3D (Stereo) content

by "Jim Manley" <jcmanley@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 10, 2006 at 09:52 AM

I have a great new TV but it has a non-interlaced display. All the 3D
technology that I know about depends on the display being interlaced (for
the LCD glasses). I thought gamers might know about display issues, say
with
Quake 4 and NVIDIA or the new ATI All in Wonder card.

The TV does have an RGB input for my laptop. That may give added
flexibility. But my question is how to show 3D on a plasma set.

I'm not a gamer - yet - though I do have my eye on the XBOX 360. But I'd
like to do 3D GIS visualizations.

Thanks!

Jim
