Indeed. My living room is smaller than ten feet square (maybe ten by 
eight feet?); the minimum creature size such that it could accommodate 
at most one at a time seems to be in the cave troll range or 
thereabouts. Certainly it could hold several ordinary humanoids without 
difficulty. :)
