Not a very good one. I don't recall my XP-box cra****ng ever. Sometimes 
explorer crashes with badly written programs, but that's all. And I have 
one windows-server which has run now for...eight years without single
crash.

As always badly written programs can crash. So saying that 
windows-version would need autosave is same as saying that 
windows-version is badly written.
