Xaw support in V

I am about to try compiling a Debian package for 3.0.9b, with the help of 
the current maintainer.

I notice that the existing Debian package (1:3.0.9-1, which is 3.0.9a) has

dependencies on ncurses and Xaw. My understanding is that Xaw support has 
been dropped - but is this in 3.0.9b or will it not happen until 3.1.0?

Grateful for any clarification on this. Also grateful for clarification of

other *nix builds: ISTR that the GTK version was still supported - but the

Debian package does not currently depend on the GTK. It doesn't depend on 
the SDL either. ISTR also that the basic x11 port has been/is being 
dropped - which would leave the GTK and SDL ports as the only way of
playing 
Angband in X. So the package needs to depend on at least one of them.

My assumption is that the 'order of preference' for compiling/playing V on

*nix is expected to be SDL -> GTK -> ncurses. Grateful for confirmation if

that's right or correction if it isn't.
