Rogue as diver

Hello all.

My char is not yet very far, but it seems to me that Halfling Rogue is 
fastest diver of all possibilities. I'm not trying extremely hard and my 
turncount (when I saved) was similar to my utterly crazy suicide divers. 
Still not Eddies speed, but very very fast for me. I'll post a dump once 
this is deep enough to worth mention. If not this then some other hobbit 
rogue.

Eddie, have you tried hobbit rogue? What is your experience with them 
compared to other class/race combinations?
