As Nick says, without ESP you are dead. Even with it, Will o'the Wisps are
native to that depth and will confuse you before you know what has
happened.
Without the staff, the chances of instakill by trap are very likely and
without
the amulet you couldn't 'u'se it anyway at that level. I guess the rod is
the
only 'luxury' item.
