But that implies at base speed +36 he doesn't *need* to cart around speed
items,
other than to deal with irresistible slowing. Instant free inventory
slots.
I'd lean towards the Fast (+36) base, *especially* if the randart sling
also had
extra shots. Extra Shots +4 translates to an energy cost of 20, which
means in
an extended series of sling fire he gets *two* shots per time tick,
guaranteed,
at speed +36. (Minimum speed for this breakpoint would be +35).
