Yeah, I took a look.  The code must have been stripped out very
recently.  Sorry to send you after a wild goose.

There had been a small bug--if a KILL_WALL or PASS_WALL monster was
stuck in a vault, it would still wake you up.  I figured that would be
easy to fix--just add a check to verify that the monster is moving
into rock.
