Or give ammunition bigger dice. That would also have side-effect of them 
being useful as throwing weapons if you don't have appropriate shooter.

But that "reduce slay multiplier for ammunition" sounds much better. It 
also makes "brand ammo"-spell much less overpowered.

I also think there could be rarer kill-slays for race-slaying ammunition 
which could stay at *3 slay. (*slay* orc, troll, giant, demon, undead 
and dragon). Brands and slay evil/animal have too wide category to have 
kill slay.
