In other words it makes inventory management a lot easier task. If you 
remove selling now you should also remove approx 20% of inventory slots 
too to make inventory management as much challenge as it is now.

You can go with no selling now if you like that approach. Just don't 
collect sellable items, use whatever slots you have to collect those 
items you call "junk". Usually limited use items also sell for good 
value, except maybe mushrooms, so practically nothing changes except 
that you can't sell that DSM you found early when you find better armor.
