Still not the same thing. Because you will never sell 30000gp in cash
for less than 100, assuming it was junk because you found it at 50'.
(Argument goes even more so for scrolls/potions which are often sold for
the ID effect, but sometimes the patience to wait for pseudo-ID,
especially for weak-pseudo-ID cl*****, is not there.
