That type's my favourite, and certainly one of the best.

I'd say keep diving in the current one. Vaults will start to appear
pretty soon, and after a 1000' more, you'll start to get irritated
with their frequency.... :-/

Sure, just remember to use the money. Z really has useful stuff to buy,
though it can be a bit tedious to visit three or four towns to find it.

The main point is not to lose AC from acid attacks.
But yeah, ****elds of resistance are very nice. Also, remember to check
every headgear of Seeing, since they have a chance of telepathy,
(aside of always having resBlind and SI, which you'd like to have
pretty soon...) and it only costs a few thousand AU more.
>> b) a Long Bow (x3) (+6,+30%)
Remember to buy Enchant scrolls for this until at least +9,+45%
(or somewhere around there, I think %5 equals +1).
Or even better, get an ego bow since even Velocity and Accuracy
have a slight edge over non-ego bows. (And use the scrolls on
the new bow.)
>> d) a Ring of Protection [+12]
I'd think there would be something better, but maybe not yet.

Not that good, see if you can get a Helm of Seeing.

Purchase some more, cary at least half a dozen.

Store at home for a while yet.

Use these on your bow.

Actually, Thalkettoth has Dex, Thaum. has Int and stealth.
I'd say go with the robe, since it has FA, ResConf and ResBlind
(and also ResNexus, whereas Thal has Acid and Shards and a random
high resist). Read the Enchant Armor scroll on the robe. (In fact,
always read all enchant scrolls immediately except if you're saving
them for the Gauntlets; the scrolls won't do you any good in your
backpack and the Gauntlets are one of only three items that has
extra bonuses from AC.)
I think the skill ring will help you with your shooting, but am not
totally sure.

Otto Martin - hmm, should try to get to endgame with that mindcrafter...

"I thought you said you were on a new diet plan?" "I am."
"What kind of diet plan lets you pig out ... ?" "Exercise."
