And TB has said it's not a legitimate game to use it, since it does more 
than fix bugs.  Many people like to use it to avoid the uberjackal effect,

but there are other gameplay-breaking changes implimented by the patch
that 
you may not want if you wish your games to be more legit (in particular 
making more artifacts available through random generation - some of which 
are very powerful).
