ok, i'll add some more spoilerless information, in addition to
sandra's post.
first, about bridge building - this skill is like almost totally
useless,
mostly because of large weight of materials. it CAN come handy in one
<spoily place in later game>, but most players use another method.
second, about skills - stealth trains by itself, so if you're going
for a enough
long game, don't spent skill points on it. First Aid used to stop
bleeding,
poisoning, and, IIRC, sickness, but not for regaining HP - for that
train
Healing.
third, ultras are very difficult to achieve. a lot more than usual
close-the-gate
ending.
and about cats - well, if you not hoping to at least get normal
ending, you as
well can forget about it and kill felines. of course it's bad for your
carma...
not killing cats results in <spoily reward> much later in game.
