The only larger shop is the Casino one, which is quite far into the game.
Any preplanned levels (like Dwarftown) are kept the same size and centred
in
the screen. Generally it's disvantageous to use a high terminal size -
you
spend more time exploring, which means extra food trouble early on and
extra
corruption problem later on. The Casino shop can be bloody massive
though,
which can mean some very nice items available (for a price).
