I don't know the exact distance (perhaps it even depends on your
perception, in which case high PE would probably be worse), but judging
by my addiction to luring her to the Living Forest, it is large enough
to make killing her from a safe enough distance difficult. If you lured
her away enough from her original spot, you can always use magic
mapping/tele****tation to descend and return later when you can kill her
safely.
