You need some sort of method in order to see and kill the monsters
very quickly. Long-range bolt spells, missiles, not waiting around to
pick up the gold from the Arena Master can make the difference. IIRC
in a YAVP someone said something about fini****ng the Arena with 2
potions, using farsight and bolt spells and not picking up the money.
