Thanks for the solid advice!
I actually have a couple more questions about religion.
1. Is picking up an item in the water cave (and saying 'yes'), and then
slaying Mom considered to be chaotic?
There are some nice items there, but becoming a falling champion does not
seem appealing to me.
2. That said, I'm not entirely sure what that entails -- and the guidebook
seems to be silent on the issue (and the Google search of this group is
failing me).
What game effects are there for becoming a falling champion?
