I'm just going to hijack this thread a little bit and ask my own question,
though it's related.
In my current game, I'm a champion of Balance, so technically, I can
convert
elemental altars if I choose to.
Now, I'm already past the Fire and Water temple, and I'm just spoiling
myself a little for the next ones, and I'd like to know whether it's
actually practical to convert the other elemental temples.
That is,
1. Is there any danger that the sacrifice will be directed to the chaos
god
who owns the altar, instead of my god, and that I will lose alignment?
2. Is it possible to sacrifice the keepers of the Orbs, while they're
chilling placidly atop their altar?
3. Are most minions sacrificable?
4. When sacrificing minions, am I also forgoing any chance of loot?
... and if there are other potential pitfalls that a savvy character
should
avoid, please let me know :)
For me, this is the first character that reached has the Casino, and I
would
rather be safe than sorry -- I started her back in December, and I have
already been burned many times by various forms of divine contempt and
wrath, and so your help on this matter is greatly appreciated!
