Hello all,
I'm starting out playing mahjong and I've been playing a lot on
Mahjongtime. There's only so much that the Internet can teach,
though, and I'm looking to find actual players.
I'm a bit intimidated to seek out a game in Chinatown (Plus I live in
Jersey and only really have time on weeknights) or find a Japanese
parlor somewhere in the city unless there's one that people know of
that's easy on newbies like me.
I played my first game with some folks from a Meetup.com group but I'm
all about expanding and learning more.
Does anyone have any leads for the northern NJ area and possibly
Manhattan?
