Elemental mages have to be full mages and get a +2 bonus to spells and
summons in their element. Elementalists are aspected and can only cast
and summon in their element doing so with no bonus. I seem to recall
that both take a penalty to resistance tests for the opposing element.
Elemental mages may learn any spell they want to, but take a penalty
to learning/casting spells of the opposing element. Thats the main
reason that they must be full mages and Elementalists are only
aspected.
