Turkey made an unsup****ted move into an English Center
that England had walked out of. Not much tactical
brilliance, and foolish on England's part, but not in
any way dishonorable.

Um no, when a 16 Center Power pulls back, she's not
signaling a desire for a three-way. She's trying
to entice the stalemating Powers to begin fighting
to open up a Solo shot, which is exactly what
happened. This is England's first mistake.

The 18 Turkish Centers suggest that this was one way
to win.

Well, then this was England's second mistake. If he
could have Soloed, then he should have.

Taking Centers from your opponents is not uns****tsmanlike
conduct; it is the object of the game.

And Turkey won by taking advantage of England and
France's mistakes.

That may be, though it is certainly debatable, but
Turkey did nothing dishonorable, she simply made
the appropriate moves to win the game. Her efforts
were greatly simplified by England's mistakes, but
England himself says that that is one way to a Solo.
