Dear all,
We would like to invite you to celebrate WDC 2008 with us. WDC 2008
will take place from THU 14th to SUN 17th of August 2008, at
Lockenhaus Castle, some 90 minutes by car from Vienna.
Venue
We are sleeping, eating and playing at a 800 year old castle in the
south of Austria.

Transport
A shuttle from Vienna to the venue (and back again) will be offered on
Thursday/Sunday.
Prices
There are three kinds of accomodation available, starting at 99.- Euro
for three days accomodation, full board (breakfast/snack/dinner) and
tournament.
Tournament
We will be playing four rounds until 1907, ManorCon, the fourth round
featuring a top board until 1909. The winner of the top board takes it
all, for the rest, the results of three of the four rounds will sum
up to the tournament score.
There will be a team tournament, teams being formed by three players,
in heat 2 and heat 3 (results of the 3 players sum up to team result).
Socializing
In order to have time to drink, play other games and talk, the
official Diplomacy part ends in the evening. For the real con
experience, we chose a place with virtually no nightlife around - if
you want to go out, do that before/after the Con in Vienna. :o)
Registration
If you decided to join the party, please sign up as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you accomodation if you sign up
after the end of may.
