JDoom uses glBSP 2.05 for node building. It uses it for JHeretic and
JHexen.
glBSP is not as robust as you think. I have had problems with it dating
back
18 months.

Some time ago, I found that the walkway on Heretic level E2M1 towards the
final Green door was such that you were "lowered" into lava and could not
get out. It turned out it was because glBSP made the optimisation of
"reusing" nodes it new about. I am unaware if this is fixed or not (I will
find out). The result is that the Doomsday Engine will fire glBSP with
the -fresh option to build nodes.

I have entered 2 bug re****t on glBSP in the past 24 hours, one to do with
building Hexen nodes and another for level 20 of Alien Vendetta.

If I find that the Heretic bug is unfixed, I will do another bug re****t.

I am unimpressed with glBSP.
I have found 3 errors and I have not really looked.
