That is better, but not ideal.

Computer #1, Linux box, is where I do my editing. Computer #2, Windows 
box, is for testing. I keep current copies of everything on both
computers.

Every week I burn everything to CDR, non-multisession, non-CDRW. So 
nobody (me) can go back and screw with the CD after it is burned. I have 
backups going back over a year, each on a separate CD (each backup takes 
2-3 CDs though)
