There are supposed to be .def files in which performance variables for
weapons are stored. They are supposed to be in <doom root dir>\base\def,
so the cheat sites say. I don't have any ..\base\def directory nor do I
have any Doom-related .def files anywhere on my disk.
Are the cheat sites wrong? All of them? I doubt it. So, what's up with
my installation? The game plays without a problem, so, if these files are
indeed used, what are they called and where are they located?
