True, but it is sometimes difficult to get into the mood when things are a
little too predictable.  Most horror films usually follow the same pattern
of lighting being cut, wierd noises going about, etc.  If the film is too
predictable, it doesn't allow you to get into the mood.

I suspect the complaints about the game being too dark center around the
fact that there isn't a way to determine the optimal brightness.  This was
probably an oversight, but something that should be looked at one-way or
another.
