Well, at least he actually explained himself this time :)
As for the actual complaints, "too dark"? What does that even mean?
Are you complaining of the fact the game deliberately tends to send
you down dimly-lit corridors as a poor design decision, or that you
couldn't properly configure your hardware and the game is dark in
areas when its supposed to be light? I've heard both complaints, and
at least personally find neither to be too valid of a critique.
"gameplay too simple"? I guess the game could have been designed as
more of a Rainbow Six type of game, squad oriented and hyper- (if not
over-) realistic. This gamer wouldn't have been interested in Doom3
being handled that way, single-shot kills aren't fun and the pace if
often glacially slow. So again, a weak complaint IMO, what do you
want out of the Doom franchise? I'd think a creepy atmosphere, going
about killing demons and zombies. Looks like they got it right.
But this type of response is pretty much what I was commenting on, the
young male still insecure enuf in his maleness that apparently
actually being creeped out by a horror movie makes you a girl. I'm
truly sorry to hear that this mindset kept you from enjoying Doom3,
perhaps you should just move along and let those who do enjoy the game
discuss it without your increasingly troll-like responses.
