Well, not bored, but I have my off moments. I do writing for my webpage,
or
more job searching fun, or some such. Sometimes I (blasphemy!) play Quake
3
Team Arena - bots only, this line sucks for anything more than browsing -
but
even then you should see the bots. My own skin's a modified Doom one,
black
with red or blue highlights and the first frame of
archonrealm.tripod.com/wirepent.gif pentagram emblazoned across the chest.
My
side's bots are various tweaks on the Doom or Crash bots, with different
sounds for each so I can tell who's around just by sound. My skinning
sk1llz
are horrid, though, so I just copied the mdl and wav files over and over.
The
pk3's like 17 megs. But it's only for my use, so whatever.
The other side is composed of Uriel, Revenant (found a great revenant
model
online), another gargoylish model, "Spiny" (Klesk head, Bones body - looks
kind of like a meat-free imp that's been dyed blue) and "Freakazoid"
(TankJr's
body with Orbb's big-eye head - hell of a thing to see coming at you).
I have fun poking fun at the AI. It really should have a fall-through that
lets it at least take on Doom-level brains if the AI does something
stupid.
I've seen one map where the entire opposing side, one by one, went into a
side
room and just stood there. I watched 'em through a window. They thought
that
room was damn im****tant for some reason, they left the flag unguarded.
