My favorite Doom controller isn't so cheap: a Logitech Tracman Marble
Wheel. You may be able to find the original (pre-wheel) model at a
discount. The wheel is nice for scrolling windows, but Doom doesn't see
it. Once I got used to the sensitive thumb-ball action I never used a
mouse again.
