Not sure if this is the best forum... I am not a gamer at all, yet,
but I like first person shooter games and I'd like to buy some (like
Doom) for my home pc. But I don't like bangin' on my keyboard; I'd
really like to buy a game controller. I live in Brazil and the help
you find at the stores here is worthless - they really don't know
anything. Also, there's a fair selection, but usually the
top-of-the-line here is last year's model in the US. So please don't
recommend the newest thing - I won't be able to get it.
Any advice on a tried and true (and cheap) controller is appreciated.
My PC uses Windows XP.
