I am running Windows XP Home Edition on an Intel 2.4 GHz machine with 512
Meg
of RAM, an Audigy 2 sound board and a Radeon 9200 video board. I have
downloaded the newest drivers for all the above. When I run Doom 3, the
sound
repeats periodically and the video seems to jump back a second or so. It
does
this repeatedly even with all other applications (virus software,
firewall, ad
blockers, etc) turned off. I have another 512 Meg of RAM on order, but I
would appreciate any suggestions/cures that anyone may be able to provide.
