Cambodian Chinese-chess players receive cash prize

PHNOM PENH, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The National Olympic Committee of
Cambodia (NOCC) here on Tuesday awarded three Chinese-chess players in
the country with 300 U.S. dollars of cash prize for their achievements
in recent international tournaments.
"Encouragement is a sure thing, as they have earned honor and glory
for the kingdom," said Mein Sarun, first vice president of NOCC.
In October in Macao, China, the three Chinese-chess players
participated in the Second Asian Indoor Games and the 10th World Xiangqi
Championship.
