Confirming moves

by "Jerzy" <jciruk@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 15, 2007 at 09:25 AM

I`ve been asked to explain a difference, if exists, between ICCF and IECG
rules about confirming moves.

One player claims that all moves should be confirmed in every e-mail
basing
his opinion on ICCF rules
http://www.iccf.com/content/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=37&Itemid=58

e. a continuous record of all moves and confirmation of the date on which
the opponent's latest message was sent.

and IECG rules explicitly say that only the last move should be confirmed
:
http://www.iecg.org/rules7.htm#_Toc126766757

1. the correct repetition of the opponents last move

So what are your opinions on this subject ? Should correspondence players
confirm all moves each time they send their moves playing by e-mail or is
it
enough to confirm only the last move ? In my opinion the rules of ICCF and

IECG are compatible but IECG clearly states that only last moves should be

confirmed.

Regards

Jerzy
