I understand your distress at my news group posting that I had updated
and revised your masterpiece "How to Talk Dirty in Japanese and
English".

I am herewith enclosing two new copies of your work. You will be able
to see that I have not changed or altered a single dirty word of your
book. I just improved the fonts and the layout. I discovered that
Times New Roman includes Japanese kanji as well, so the words are all
larger and easier to read.

I acknowledge that you are the master of dirty words at least as far
as the Japanese Language is concerned. Nobody can write in Japanese
more dirtier than you can write. I realize that some of the credit for
your filthy vocabulary come from your Japanese wife. Kindly give her
my regards and thank her for her filthy contributions to this book.

I am very interested in one thing. I see that your book is listed as
for sale in Japan for yen 5,272. That is four times more than the
retail price here. Could you contact your local bookseller and find
out the reason for that? Have you given it to another printer over
there? Is there a pirate edition out?

Please give my regards to your co-author, Hiroaki Fukuyama. I have
lost track of his address. Mail has been marked "Return to Sender
Address Unknown No Such Number". Is he avoiding me? Is he also miffed
because he thinks that I have downgraded his book by changing his
words to words that are less dirty? The book is really bad and frankly
an embarrassment to a fine company such as ours but I would never
change the words in your book.
