Henry does not use Google for RGB. Google has very tell-tale quote
marks, and his are totally different. Henry has, I suspect, gone to the
work of snipping out what he thinks is not relevant. You may not agree
with his choices about what to take out, but judicious snipping can be a
huge boon in a long thread, and criticizing someone for making the
effort is not very nice.

Also, most Usenetters really do see most previous posts, so that
snipping them is only a mild inconvenience. Personally I would prefer if
Henry had quoted the whole thread so that I can easily look back and see
what he's referring to. However, it's easy for me, or anyone else, to go
back a post or two if there's a point that needs clarifying.

You've made some good points about proper Usenet etiquette, though
sometimes you target it towards people who don't care and will never
change. This time I think you've targeted it at someone who already knows.
