The RiP count is suggesting us that this hand:AKQx AJTx x Qxxx
has 12,5 RiP (13 are needed for bidding game), furthermore after their
3H raise the value of the heart jack vanishes and we now have 12 RiPs,
with 11-12 RiPs you should be inviting game and not bidding game.
Nevertheless with:AKQx JTxx x AQxx and with the knowledge your
partner is void in hearts your hand goes from 12,5 to 12 to 15 RiPs
when adding 3 points for the working void+superfit. This suggests that
game has play if partner has no points, just by adding his initial 3
distributional points for the void he is holding we are getting to 18
points. (18 points = ten tricks;20=11 and so on).
So long
