I would double at pairs.
Partner's bidding suggests he has enough defense to tolerate 2Cx being
left in so he should have honor cards useful for offense and defense.
Also, partner's six card spade suit doesn't see very strong to back in
again after a reopening double. I would expect partner's hand to be
something like: S Axxxxx H Axx D AKx C x so our side should have
a good chance of winning the first 5-6 tricks with spade ruffs to my
hand before declarer can draw trumps.
