What if partner is holding xxxxx --- Kxxx KQxx isn't he going to pass?
In my opinion there is a case for expecting partner to cue-bid a king
instead of an ace after you have shown a strong hand like this with
your 4S raise and he has not open his hand despite holding a void. And
anyway show me a hand in which he will not raise to game an
invitational 3S raise when holding a void. Perhaps this one?: xxxxx
--- xxxx Kxxx, I guess a 1S response by him with the shown hand is not
as insane as it looks nevertheless he can still envision a possible
doublefit in clubs and spades or superfit in spades looking at your 1C
opening bid. So why bidding 4S at once at all, why overbidding at all
when you are holding an obviously wasted heart ace/jack there, partner
has obviously a heart void. What if partner is holding xxxxx --- KQxx
KQxx, is he going to pass? He is not holding an ace in either minor.
