If by "your clone" you really mean "someone who is on the same
wavelength as me and with whom I have worked out detailed partnershop
agreements in common competitive auctions' then of course what you
write is correct.

That would apply to many threads, including the one where one poster
advocates a 4c qbid with

AQJxxxx
VOID

after 1s (2c) 2s (3c), where 2s  = forcing for one round, 5 or more
long.

It would not occur to me to bid 4c with this hand because I prefer it
to be a power raise to 4s and the raise to 4s to be a distributional
raise to 4s, but obviously if the poster is "playing with his clone"
and they have the understanding that a 4c bid could show this type of
hand, then they are likely to be on the same wavelength and to make
the right decision over competition to 5c.
