I probably bid 2C directly over 1S but I have to admit I like this
development. I double now. This is a penalty-oriented double that
tells partner to lead a Spade if he doesn't have a very good lead.
With no HCP to speak of, he won't often have a good lead of his own.
It is _not_ for the unbid suits, which he should bid only with a long
suit. Partner could bid Spades here with five but that is unlikely on
this auction/my hand. He might bid them with four but that's not all
that bad.

If partner p*****, which he normally will, and leads a Spade, I will
switch to Clubs and still have a control in Spades. If THEY run, I can
double either Minor. Partner knows my Spades are at least this good/
long, so he will hit the suit if it is right. Although I might. If we
double Hearts, he will have to do it.
