especially at imps, where a making 2Dx is not game, I disagree with
West's pull of the double of 2d to 2h.  That would be especially true
for someone, like myself, for whom the double of 1nt would be for
penalty.

It is hard to know from the re****t whether West thought the double of
1nt was for penalty or takeout (or optional) since he may have felt
that his hand was too weak to bid 2h freely over 2c.

Still, the risk of 2dx making is -180 or -280 with an overtrick.  the
gain of 2dx down is +200 or +500.

Those look like decent odds to me, especially since West can't be
certain of a plus in 2h.
