Your post (and the subsequent ones) simply showed up as normal in my
newsreader last time I asked it to download new messages. There's no
hint that you tried to cancel yours (and doing so on usenet is
spectacularly unreliable).

I was simply pointing out why it was commented upon (since that
appeared to have escaped notice), and trying to do so in a very gentle
and non-threatening/non-insulting way (or so I thought!).
