You could do a blended IMP game.
Men Pairs A, B, and C
Women Pairs 1, 2, and 3
A/B take on 1/2, then A/C take on 1/3, then B/C take on 2/3, all in a
team format.
Meanwhile, a set of stationary boards are played. In each round, the
"out" pairs play the boards are the stationary table. Twice the men
are N-S, twice the women are E-W. These boards are compared as the
"fourth" round. Where two scores are received, these are each
compared with the one score.
Thus, suppose on Board 1, Men's E-W took -480. If one Men's N-S was
+980, men pick up a lot on that board. If the other Men's N-S was
-50, men lose on that board. This will tend to cause the odd pair to
have their performance doubled in value. So, the men and the women
each pick an anchor pair. Or, if that seems rude, draw.
