Brian, I believe you.  I believed you the first time. 

The above (re-quoted below for clarity) was written by well known CLC
(and now, it seems, RGB) troll Chuckie Falconer.

There's not much more to say here, but if you are, for some perverse
reason, still interested, hop on over and start reading.  Oh, and your
not having ever written any C code is no impediment to participation in
CLC.  Because of the way that NG has been (re-)defined by a hardcode
clique, the one that thing cannot be discussed there (and never is) is
actual, real world, C programming.
