So in my opinion, the defense should go thus:
Trick 1: Spade 6, J, A, small (precise spot card depends on opps'
lead agreements)
Trick 2: Club A, 8, 5, small - 3rd hand now has to decide if the 5 is
encouraging. Assume he decides it is not
Trick 3: Spade deuce (suit preference), small, ruff, honor
Trick 4: Club Jack (suit preference), small, ruff, small
Trick 5: Spade 3 (suit preference), small, ruff, honor
Trick 6: Club 7 (suit preference), small ruff, queen
Trick 7: Heart 9
and West gets the king of hearts eventually.
