Thanks to all who responded.

I didn't think there would be much sentiment for 3c here.  Now, how
about this situation (same basic conditions except that you are not
the dealer):

RHO     You     LHO     Partner
1d         p         1s        2h
2s         ?

Same objections to 3c?  Or is this an example of a hand where you
might pass 1d with long clubs and back in later?
