No, declarer can hold partner to one trump trick, by ruffing the third
round with the 8, and assuming West pitches, continuing with a low
trump to the 7.  It matters (of course) that East can't get in again
to promote another trump trick.

So perhaps this defense might make more sense if dummy's trumps were
K65 instead of K75.  Even so, that doesn't make it the right defense;
it may be better to play partner for QT or Q9 of hearts than to play
for one of the specific trump layouts where diamond leads are
required.

It does tell declarer how to play the hand.  On the other hand, I'm a
bit superstitious about JTxx of trumps, because I had a 2-session game
once in which that trump holding induced me to double the opponents'
part scores three times---and it worked out fantastically all three
times.  So I have a lot of sympathy for the double.
