Am I not entitled to understand your agreements in terms of negative
inferences as well as positive ones?  Am I not allowed to make sure
that all bases are covered?  In the ACBL, I need to make sure relevant
bases are covered or I may not be protected from MI.

Similarly it goes (1C) - P - (1H) - 1S - (1NT).  Should I not be able
to ask the meaning of double, and if you play sup****t doubles inquire
as to whether 1NT categorically denies 3 card sup****t?
