My sloppiness, I guess.  I was only thinking about situations where a
*call* was based on misinformation; and once the opening lead has been
faced, it's too late to allow the lead to be withdrawn and one or more
calls cancelled.  But yes, the lead itself can be changed if based on
MI.  (47E2(a) for anyone who wants to look it up.)
